NHS Rainbow Cookies

Hey guys!

I wanted to show my classic cookie dough recipe that is the fool proof way to get the most amazing chewy cookies. They’re easily veganised so check them out with my niecey here. We wanted to add rainbows to celebrate the efforts of the NHS because in a family home, bed time coincides with the moment of gratitude everyone is sharing so we’re saying thank you in other ways aha!

Ingredients

  • White Flour

  • Sunflower Butter

  • Vanilla

  • Brown Sugar

  • Golden Syrup

  • Decorations of your choice!

  • Fillings of your choice.

This is the easiest recipe in the world, you add 125g of brown sugar, 125g of plant based butter and cream until smooth in a blender or by hand. Add a tbsp of golden syrup and mix well. Then you add 150g of flour mixed with your choice of fillings, then add your favourite flavour like a tsp of vanilla extract and about 50g of saltanas. It’s easy! You’re left with a cookie dough, pop on a greased tray and pop in the oven at 170, it takes about 10 minutes and these were a little too done, but still a treat!

Let me know what you’re doing to celebrate the efforts of our NHS during this time.
