Rose Gold with PenelliBelle + Some Fabulous Features

Hey everyone.

I wanted to do a further feature on the amazing jewelry designer Penellibelle and share some of my other favourite items, mostly because I think she’s so fantastic she deserves a further shout out, but to talk through some of my aesthetic choices now I’ve got into jewelery.

So I’m gonna focus on some of the brand partnerships I’ve worked with this year and not my personal collection to start with because I wanted to begin with rose gold, and the reason for that is I just don’t know much about jewelery and I really like the colour. I decided that after collecting loads of random clothing for years and building up this treasure trove of weird things, I wanted to begin to work on jewelery because I know how to make and customise clothes competently enough that unless it’s a really bizarre item, I don’t really have the appeal for it that I used to. Making rings or necklaces is an art form that is beyond my capabilities at this present point in time and learning about a designer who creates such phenomenal items and from an Etsy based, needs more attention.

So this item is a 14k rose gold hand made design and it is just gorgeous, what can you say? Now I wear makeup on my hands and not ever wearing jewelry, I have to say that I got a bit of a shock when my fingers started to go grey. They do not tell you but if you wear real gold, it changes the color of any base makeup to grey. So don’t do it. I was like wtf is this on my hand and it was literally the foundation so be warned.

Her designs are too stunning to be handled with grey tones haha. These are moissanite and diamonds which is a hand made diamond, I am considering getting them changed for real diamonds but they are still as gorgeous. They retail for around £1600 and there are another two that I have my eye on.

Here are some of my first pieces, I was sent the chainlink watch by a company but they were extremely difficult to confirm the manufacturing details so I don’t know what the official brand is and I gave it away. The bracelet is a rose gold 14k link with artificial diamonds, and the bracelet with the link on is by Michael Kors which was given by my mum for Christmas after I took an interest. The cufflink style bracelet has an affirmation on saying ‘I am a warrior’ which I love by SoulAnalyse who sent me that, as a fellow Brightonian I loved the brand.

The Rose Quartz pendant was a pendant I found online, I use crystals in my work all the time so it was lovely to find one that had some character to it as I really don’t like the pendants that are overly crafted. You should leave them in the light of the moon to recharge, it’s like saging your house and it can bring healing and clarity.

So this gorgeous watch was sent to me by Ksana who I found on Wolf and Badger. It retails for £75 and I think it’s a chic, simple and gorgeous looking watch. I don’t love the strap and I’ve basically disassembled it whilst I find an alternative but they provide excellent and beautiful products.

Finally, these were sent to be my Gnoce, they are also adorned with some charms I bought myself. Each charm retails for about £60 and is silver in rose gold plating, with 14k rose gold. The dog face was the most expensive item and I did have a very annoying situation happen where I was in a bathroom and the link came undone, losing two of them. So I was quite annoyed because I think there needs to be an elastic security bead or link to stop that, but hey. Gnoce was amazing to gift them and I really adore their products.

Let me know your favorite watches!
