Pink
Inspiration
I definitely do not have a specific reference point with these looks originally, it was a kind of throwback to the Moulin Rouge Xtina makeup by Billy B mixed with some Pat Mcgrath moments. I have genuinely no clue but when I revisit my early ideas as more refined looks today, what I try and do is regather the feeling that came when I did them and find a specific reference to pay homage to. It was a rebellious, imagined look. Siouxsie Sioux came to mind and that was the modified version, with more of an angular cupids bow, glittery brows for a technique I didn’t include in this series and a focus on the pink vs black combination.
Here’s some of the fun looks I did when I was about seventeen and still in college.
