Here’s my favourite ever look I think I’ve done for so many reasons, it’s all about proportion and face and I loved playing with the microtechniques. Here’s the original.

 
 

Inspiration

When I was looking through Youtube to find any kind of reference to natural looking transformative makeup, there was none. Eve Pearl was a professional makeup artist of repute that had some drag videos that were a bit more articulate, but they were not what I would describe as anatomical. The looks I wanted to create were small undetectable changes that created a massive difference.

Drag race was early on in the seasons so I wanted to capitalise on it by terming it drag, it was really a showcase of technique. I actually did this on Youtube with James St James but I don’t understand the edit of that video whatsoever haha! Anyway check out the breakdown below.

  • Base - TV Stick in 3 shades, Coty Set Powder

  • Skin - Shaving / Hair Condition (I use Amika) Better You Magnesium Lotion

  • Brow Cover - Purple Glue Stick (Make sure it's the dark purple)

  • Eyes - Suva Shadow Pallete, Narz Bronzer in Heat

  • Liner - Yanquina Pen Liner

  • Mascara - Tarte Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara

  • Lenses - I wear prescription Desio in the Ice White

  • Brows - Suva, Illamasqua Skin Base
