Vegan Pizza Hut - Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Hey guys,

Here’s a brand new cauli/brocolli crust pizza that I thought would be a great one to add to my recipes! t’s low carb and uses a guac instead of a salsa or puree as the base so it was absolutely delicious, fun for kids and I thought an awesome vegan alternative to the Pizza Hut vegan pizzas now out!

Ingredients

  • Almond Flour

  • Brocolli

  • Chia Seeds

  • Plant Milk

  • Bread Flour

  • Avocado

  • Alternatively - Prebought Guacamole

  • Tomatoes

  • Red Onion

  • Beetroot

  • Peppers

  • Rocket

  • Sage

  • Garlic Powder

  • Onion Powder

  • Nutritional Yeast

  • Salt

So you basically have to create a dough thats gonna hold up without losing flavor, and when I tried the main cauliflower crusts or almond crust recipes, they literally became horrendous either tastewise or texture wise, So the way I’ve done this, is I use one cup almond flour, one cup regular flour, one cup cauliflower rice, some finely diced up brocolli which I had spare. Combine in a large bowl with a tsp garlic powder, one onion powder, two nutritional yeast, two salt

In a seperate bowl, mix chia seeds, about a dessert spoon with a cup of almond or plant milk. Set that aside for at least 25 minutes to form an egg replacement. You then mix that with the ball, and you will be able to feel if the texture is forming into a ball, add splashes of water to the recipe until the texture is desireable and you can easily spread it across a lined baking tray. Use parchment sheets and oil. My oven was on 180 and I cooked the crust for about 15 minutes, tested it and then kept going for another 5.

For the toppings, this is totally up to you but I used my guacamole recipe which you can find here. Add some precooked red onion and peppers, I added balsamic vinegar in the process and caramalised them slightly. Then I added finely sliced and salted tomatoes, some beetroot slithers, rocket and bam. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The brocolli pieces in the crust were really a game changer and it didn’t taste too chalky, or almondy, or that weird cauliflower taste. It worked so it’s not super no carb, but it’s low carb and delicious.

Defo try it out at home and pop up some of your own concoctions. All my stuff is meant to be really fun and playful, so I love mixing things together and this was an awesome test.

I was playing with some mini pizzas for kids after and I found some awesome combos. Just swapping the same around and adding raw carrot slithers, was fun and colourful and my niece really enjoyed helping me pick out toppings. I added some tiny bits of vegan cheese here too!
