Metsä/Skogen Forest Experience

Hey everyone!

When I arrived in Finland I saw someone at the airport that was wearing a T-Shirt that said ‘Tree Hugger’, and I kept thinking to myself, I need that shirt aha! I had no idea at that time that the incredible #MyHelsinki arranged for me to visit Metsa / Skogen which is actually their brand, and that is where the shirt came from!

Metsa / Skogen is a celebration of the natural environment and the beautiful green spaces across Helsinki, they had prepared a foot bath with microbiomes from the forest that are proven to tackle a number of ailments and to centre you, which I loved. We got to listen to the natural bird song and check out some of the most delicious berries and flowers. I then tried vegan caviar for the first time which was a total treat!

I was really impressed by the essential oils that captured the fragrance of the forest, and the use of pinecones as a sustainable diffuser. I just loved the entire space and I got to take home some candles and beautiful products that remind me of the essence of those green spaces. We are living in such a busy time at the moment that it is integral that we ground ourselves with things that remind us of the natural world.
