TRIA Laser Skin Resurfacing - Pigmentation, Texture and Fine Lines

Here is my brand new collaboration with Tria. I got the opportunity to try out their phenomenal new Age Defying Laser device (£299 in the same, normally around £450).

This device works like many of those super incredibly in clinic devices, by targeting a laser beam of light below the surface of the skin, causing superficial damage to the tissue so that the skin heals in the same way you would use dermabrasion or chemical peels to restore skin texture and clarity. It’s a phenomenal new machine, it has been an incredible experiment to try firstly on my hands, where I have visible texture and freckles, and the massive reduction in pigment in two weeks which is the recommended time frame to see your first results.

In the photos I’ve attached, I’ve compared both my left and right hand and you can see the right side looks smoother, more brighter, the redness has gone down, it looks more hydrated and the pigments are less pronounced. This is in a two week experiment with two days off, so 12 days in total. I was astounded.

You apply the machine in a left to right motion, and create a swipe across the surface of the face and neck, ignoring the eye area. When the sensors are both covered and flat against the skin, the laser pulses and it is incredible. The feeling of the laser is very strong on the highest setting, however there are three, and it feels like a hot light across the skin.

In my video I did show that straight after the treatment there was a slight case of ‘prickly heat’ which is common in sensitive skin types when there is any treatment, laser hair removal, laser resurface, IPL, and this was just the assurance that the treatment was doing it’s job. It calmed down after 5 minutes and the results started to show in two weeks.

I am blown away by the results as you can see in this video and in the photos, I am going to be showing you further results in 3-6 months time.
